Market references often show double/triple glazing pushing window costs to ~AED 800+ per sqm depending on specs, and double-glazed glass wall/partition references around ~AED 450–900 per sqm (system-dependent). It’s real. Double glazing works as an insulated glass unit (IGU): two panes separated by a sealed air/gas gap, which helps slow heat transfer. Many systems also add Low-E coatings to further improve thermal performance – useful for UAE heat and AC efficiency.
